How would you compare "Fucking metal...!" with "I´m going to hell"?

Fucking Metal Motherfuckers is the natural evolution form I'm Going To Hell
both musically and lyrically. They both sound like they are from the same
band, but I think FMM is more direct, simple and sick. If anything, FMM is
actually a darker album as it is more personal.

Is there something in "Fucking metal..." that looking backwards you would
have changed?

No. Each SCEPTER release is a good for its place in time. You take what you
learn from each session and further develop as a band.

Which plans do you have for 2004?

We are playing a concert here with Black Witchery, Aries Kingdom and Ancient
Gods on February 7th. Beyond that, get a new album out.

How is the process of writing a Scepter song?

Todd and I usually write completed songs separately and show them to the
other guys.
If we all like it, we have a new song. My own process usually involves
getting inspired from something that pisses me off, watching TV, getting
wasted, hot chicks and stupid people.
Sometimes the music comes first, sometimes the lyrics. Then I sit down and
jam out the ideas
on a boom box and eventually form a completed song.

Which is your opinion nowadays of the "Metal Supremacy" MCD?

I think it is the darkest SCEPTER ever sounded. It has a real atmosphere to
it as opposed to just sounding like guitars, bass, drums and vocals. SCEPTER
at our most Death Metal.

Do you have plans of touring?

No. Too much shit involved, too much going on in our lives and a waste of
money. Of course, we would travel to play a killer concert or a few
consecutive dates but nothing major.

Which is your equipment live and in studio?

It's the same for both. Todd uses Jackson guitars, Crate 4x12's and Peavy
amplification.
Eric plays Yamaha drums and Zildjian cymbals and I use Ampeg amplification,
Peavy 4x12's and
B.C. Rich basses.

Which are the band´s main influences?

Old 70's rock like KISS, Sweet, B.O.C., Foreigner, Boston, METAL bands like
Celtic Frost, Venom,
Slayer, Sodom, Destruction, Kreator, Twisted Sister, Motley Crue, Ratt,
W.A.S.P., tons of other cool
bands as well as everyday events and people in life.

Any final words?

Keep it fucking sick.
