MERENDINE ATOMICHE

1- How has been "Walk Across Fire" received since its release?

I think really good! After a few months from its release we obtained many great reviews from all the world, interviews, and a big space for spread our music. the best result been the sign with american management SKBT from New York. Thanks of this we had a big promotion all around USA in many radio shows. The cds is appreciate a lot over there and is since four weeks we are at the top 50 of the most listened album in America and this is a great result. we gained an interview with famous radio fmqb and we been at the second place of most added the first week only behind sepultura, so I can say that the results are really great and I hope to trasform these things in a tour in North america and Europe soon.

2- How would you compare "Walk..." with "The Holy Metal"?

I think there's different things. First of all for the different rhythm guitar. In "the Holy metal" was my sister to produce the main part of the riffs. Now is our new guitarist Luca who have a different hand. He plays a metal near to hard rock, blues riffs, not speed or classic thrash riffs but more heavy and more energetic. the mix born with us, made a good deal . I like both albums beacuse the first one is speed, melodic, aggressive but also the second cause is hot, heavy, strong. More or less is the difference you can see between Pantera of the first album and the last one.

3- How were the songs in "Walk..:" composed?

different than "the holy metal" . in The first one we always worked together. the bigger part of riffs came from my sister but always with us, and the mix was immediatley did. the riffs born in our HQ, and everything was worked over there. With "Walk across fire" we used a different way. The guitarist and singer worked together and bass and drums in the other way. when someone have something to say we met together and we mix the ideas. when the song was ready we worked alone for made it better.

4- How did you get Jeff Waters and Anders Lundmark to play in "Walk across Fire"?

two different things. With Anders was easy than for Jeff. I contacted him directly and with help of producer Tomas Skogsberg. we proposed this collaboration and he said ok. For Jeff was harder than wih Anders. Ihad to contact the european management and sent them our stuff. Only after their ok they gave me the address of Jeff Waters. he contacted me after a month telling me that was ok to works together but only if the song would be cool for him. We stayed in contact for a long time so, when the song was ready we sent him and he appreciated and did the solos.

5- How is the deal with Deadsun Recs.?

is only for this album, our debut one. Now we will see if we can re sign for them or work alone or found something else. is early to say. we wanna see what's happend in the near future.

6- Why did you decide to be produced by Tomas Skogsberg the famous producer?

We want to have an experience different in our life and we decided to go in Sweden and try to get in contact with someone famous and with a big experience and try to learn something new. The decision we took was at the end really good and we hope to re do it in the future. Was a great experience of life in general either as man or as musician.

7- What can we see in the "Blood for Glory" video?

The meaning of the song. you can watch a story about everyone of us who want to get their dream. unfortunately life is hard and many times you have to struggle with something wrong who can change you or bring you in a bad way. Despite of this we want to show that you can go on also without these things and you can have what you deserve and want with sacrifice and with work. so the story show this. If we want to see the background of the video we can see our hometown "CIttadella" a middle age town built in 1220 a.c. thanks to the bigger city Padova in north east Italy. In the beginning it was built for defense and the wall you can see are still here since 800 years. they are original from 1220. Soon Cittadella became a city where live and now is one of the beauty ones who we have in Italy and above all in Veneto, an old region who was indipendent for more than 1000 years with name of "Venetic Republic" with Venice as main town. so we would to show also our roots and the wonderful place where we live.

8- Do you have plans of touring?

we have plans but not still confirmed. We still play in Italy but is a long time we are trying to play a bigger tour in Europe and North America. we have many contacts and we hope to come play in USA and europe next year. Someone proposed us to tour also in south america but soon disappeared, so these are the plans and we hope to make it true soon.

9- How is your feeling in appearing in the "Thrash Metal Encyclopaedia"?

really good. is one of the best thing we did but we like to think that is only one of the first we want to be in. is a pleausrue to stay in an encyclopaedia and we want that this is the first step of many others.

10- Any final words

I would to thank you for this space and all the fans from your country. We have many friends from Argentina and many people who come from Veneto who live over there. I hope that all the bad things happened could fast go away and we hope that sun for all the people could back in that country who is really beautiful.
