How would you describe the music in "Life is A Dream"?
The music you can hear, we touched on some subjects that are some of the
worst things you can experience. We have ambitions to make a best stuff
ever. Each album, we have recorded is unique, but the fans must decide what
is good.
How would you compare "Life..." with "Everywhere"?
First of all "Everywhere" we´ve recorded in 1997 (ooooohhh-it was a long
time) in professional jazz (yes jazz) studio. Producer and the others in
studio was absofuckinglutely perfect professionals. We have recorded it in
one day alive! Solos and vocals next day.....
"Life..." has been loaded in three days, but there was problems and
problems. Two of seven tracks were stolen with a PC, which were used in the
studio, for more than six hours we must wait for another one and renew in
playing. But also it was in january and the Empire Studio is placed in a
little concert hall, and there was soooooo coooooold.
Do you have plans of touring to support" Life..."?
There is not at this moment any plans of touring, we have any manager or
label (but we´re still searching for it, YEAH!), who will provides a tour.
In all conscience we will support our new album "Life..." on a little gigs
in Europe (Slovakia).
Are you going to change some aspects in "Life is a Dream" ? since it says
it is a raw demo version.
Yes, as I said, we are still looking for some manager or person, who will
supply some gigs or official metal label for us. We have decided to record a
new album in a studio where "Everywhere" was recorded, but it will be in
october 2004.
How do you feel about your oldest music such as the one in "The floating
world" demo?
Definitely we are better than before at the beginning, There is no sackloth
and ashes. We are very proud for each our stuff we have recorded.
Why did you change your name from Darkland to Enemy?
And why not...? ;-)) But seriously, there was some German band called
DARKLAND, but we don´t know about that and some day or other we has sent our
album "Lost Secrets" to some labels, magazines and radios, which informed us
´bout that thing. ENEMY sound more better for our production, like DARKLAND
before.
How would you descriube an Enemy´s live show?
Our production is too ardous and we put ultimate force for art of our music.
There is no puppet show or something like that.
Which are the band´s main influences?
Miscellaneous. Our favourite bands are Mercyful Fate and King Diamond, but I
can´t forget Megadeth, Moonspell and classical serious music...
Any final words?
It's really important that all the people make up their own mind about
life. I don't have any religious beliefs but I believe in mankind, I believe
in the power of the soul and stuff like that. You should try to be your own
god without being blasphemous. To be your own maker and believe in that.
