We don't have particular expectations or ambitions , we hope that people will like our music and we hope to gain respect and consideration from the metal world . This album is the result of hard work , so we expect that people will respect and appreciate this work .

The name Daemusinem comes from and intersection between two words : Daemon and Musinè . Musinè is a mountain near the city of Turin , this place is very well-known here because of many occult and strange facts happened during the centuries . This mountain has really an "occult power" , a strange atmosphere which cannot be totally explained . We used to go there sometimes , it is really a bewitching place . A lot of people here is bewitched from the legends of this mountain and so , we imagined a Daemon descending from Musinè . This is Daemusinem .

I got in touch with Patrick in late November 2000 because I was quitting another death metal band . Moreover I knew that Daemusinem were searching a drummer ... so it was really simple and natural . We started to work together in December 2000 and now I'm totally satisfied about Daemusinem. I also play in another band called Black Flame and I played for a short time with Mortuary Drape .

Well , I got the demo from the band when I was not playing with them . It was on july 2000. I really liked this demo and the label Cold Blood Industries too , as you probably know all the tracks from this demo are in our first cd . I had really a good opinion from the first time because it was really intense , violent , melodic and professional for being the first demo of a band .

The reason are many and the simplest is that it is the place where the demo "Darkside Dimension" was recorded in 2000 , so we returned there to record our debut cd . Moreover this studios are quite really near our homes , all the members of Daemusinem have a regular work so you can understand that a place near you is a goo solution in this cases . Finally Daniele Giordana ( owner of the studios ) is really a good guy . Anyway I don't know if we'll return back again on that place to record our second cd. Maybe we'll go to Holland in Franky's Recording Kitchen studios ( where have worked bands as God Dethroned , Salacious Gods , The Wounded ... ) .

Lyrics are totally composed by the singer Gianni and they are a kind of journey through the most extreme human emotions such as hate , fear , agony and all this things mixed . The only exception is "Domine Empire" which is a sort of tribute to the Roman Empire . The album has not a lyrical concept , every song is a kind of story apart from the others .

Hard question ... there are a lot of groups here , but honestly really few of them are really and truly dedicated to music . I consider Mortuary Drape the greatest band in Italy , together with a lot of little band which I support like Black Flame ( where I play ) , Dying Awkard Angel and really few others . But Daemusinem are not into a particular scene , we don't like this kind of things and we prefer to concentrate our energies on music .

Yes , we really want to play live but we are searching other components for the line -up . Patrick played both guitars , bass and keyboards on the album , so you can understand that it is impossible to play live with our actual formation . Anyway we found a bass player called Fabrizio , who is really working hard with us ... so I think that in the next future we'll organize something ...

Ok , first of all we have not a relaction with Detestor . An old guitar player of Daemusinem called Fabio Colombatto ( which wrote "Throne of illusions" and "Burning soul" ) used to play keyboards in a mini cd of Detestor ( it was "Ego" ) and nothing more .

Uncreated was a really old band where Patrick and Gianni started to work together . It was in 1992 !!! This band released a good demo in 1993 called "Hate" which features some good tracks of thrash metal . This band disappeared due to musical divergencies . After Uncreated there was another band called "Darkside Dimesion" ( ... ) where Patrick and Gianni used to play during 1995 and 1996 . Two songs wrote for this band were just the mentioned before "Throne of Illusions" and "Burning Soul" . This band was a sort of At the Gates with keyboards so you can see it as a starting point for Daemusinem , which were formed in 1999 .
