If you read carefully here you will see that both Ambarchi and Rowe play guitars here. the crazy thing is that this instruments do not sound anything like guitars. They start calmly and start to create a crescendo that ends up getting the listener caught into the web of experimentation. it is amazing how this two masters create a whole atmosphere with the use of their instruments and they start calmly, only using some sounds and then they start getting louder and using more sounds and after a while they reach full climax. there is a lot fo strange sounds here that makes you wonder how they achieve them....almost like machine sounds, combined with more familiar ones, surprising all the time. Pure experimentation done by two masters.

There are ex members of Behemoth and Damnation here, so you can expect good brutal music. The album opens calmly with the first arpeggios of "Whip the Whore" before brutality enters a fast break where the drumming shines and then the ultra fast riffing begins. The music here is extremely fast with killer riffs and hyperspeed in the drums. You want a guy who plays ultra fast ride cymblas patterns or blast beats?  Here you have it. Guttural vocals are combined with more of the screaming type that also do unison patterns in order to add more brutality to the music. The guitars are fast and furious delivering riff after riff with no mercy and a raw yet loud sound. The overall sound is raw yet loud and clear letting the guitars shine and the drums crush the listener´s brain. Brutality and darkness, hand in hand in Azarath´s music !!!

Opening with great drumming full of double bass the band shows in "Impaired" that their music succesfully mixes modern metal with some thrash metal and also some death metal, creating the Beyond Agony sound. With influences of bands like Machine Head the band constructs songs full of huge and rhythmic guitar riffs and also of crushing rhythms designed to blast the listener with their intensity. The vocals are aggressive and they fit that modern metal sound that the music here has. They are clear and extreme but not abussing gutturality. the sound of teh recording is loud and clear, specially on drums and guitars giving extra power points to the music.

Cunt Grinder delivers their porn death grind with more brutality on each release. Here the guttural vocals have achieved perfection and the guitar riffs have been developed into more crushing ones where speed is an alement but not the main one. In fact, this guys have achieved a huge guitar sound that makes their compositions even more brutal. it is like a wall of downtuned guitars that sound really big and powerful. The vocals are as guttural as always, working as another instrument and creating passages full of bestiality. The drumming is intense and it gives also more brutality to the band while leaving space for the guitars to develope their crushing riffs. The sound is much better than in previous releases and that also adds extra poits of bestiality to the band´s sound.

A climatic band with interesting riffs and climatic arrangements that combine atmospheres with aggression. The band has managed here to create passages of full melancholy and others that are pure black metal in the rawest ways, such as the ones in "Across the Evil". Tracks like "I Fear Life" have amazing keyboards that embellish and also create textures that brings even a darker feeling to the music. And this combination of orchestrating keyboards with the raw guitars and the agonic vocals are a trademark in this band. The compositions are not ultra fast, showing a preference for mid tempos that lets them develope aggression and darkness. The sound is really raw giving that extra black metal feeling to the music.

Dark Disciple is pure brutality and aggression from beginning to end. The music here is everything about bestiality with the brutal death metla feeling delivered here. Blast beats, growling vocals, heavily downtuned guitars....everything is here, played really fluently and showing how a band cn go to the limit of brutality and sound really tight at the same time. The drumming is amazing, specially in the double bass parts. And the guitars are amazing constructing all the bestial riffs that are delivered here. The sound is loud and effective making you feel all the aggression that the band creates. I have to remark teh killer cover of Cannibal Corpse´s "A Skull Full of Maggots", a classic that fits perfectly Dark Disciple´s sound. Brutality at its top level.

Devilish Impressions is a band that achieves brutality through fast and complex riffs and through a thunderous drumming, showing always brutality and aggression but also good musicianship. The music here has elements of death metal, black metal and also some pure metal. But the mian thing here is the fast and dark black metla attack in many parts, sometimes combined with some keyboards that give a dark atmosphere to the music. The vocals are sometimes agonic black metal ones and sometimes more brutal ones fitting well the overall feeling of the music. there are changes in rhythms and riffs here and that makes things even more interesting besides brutal. The sound of the recording is raw and loud making you feel the intensity of this band. Aggression with dark atmospheres.

This is a compilation of twelve extreme bands coming directly Russia. The album opens up with the melancholy of Inter Arbores, a band that cleverly combines atmospheres and also some eastern europena melodies with a slow doom metal full of sorrow. Intaglio continues with an even slower doom full of graveyard voices and extremely sad melodic lines. then comes Autumnia with its more early My Dying Bride approach but with a more guttural voice, with keyboards that embellish the melancholy that the tune has. Arcanar opens up with  bass line that is soon accompanied by clean guitars before the ultra distorted guitars enter. And this is one of the most aggressive bands in the compilation with more crushing drumming and riffs. Each of the bands here is extremely dark and combines that feeling of desperation with some incredibly dark passages making the listener feel transported to a lonely and obscure world. One of the darkest and saddest compilations I have ever listened.

Here comes the latest Dusk release and here they deliver tracks of pure aggression combined with some deppressive elements and symphonic elements that are their trademark sound. With extreme vocals that go from screams to growling and then to ultra guttural voices the band has managed to develope their own sound showing originality and experimentation. Here you have guitars that deliver good riffs and killer solos and drumming that go from doing fast rhythms to really slow ones. And there are also the dark keyboards that embellish tracks like "DEad Heart Dawning" which are essential for the Dusk sound. There is plenty of ideas here and all of them are really dark and brutal. There are tempo changes and killer arrangements and all of them are created in order to give a darker feeling to the music. A killer release that shows a pioneer band in its best shape.

Ebola Joy is a band whose music is always enjoyable to listen to with that combination of aggressive riffs with melancholic vocals and with some dark and death metal elements in some parts. The music here is full of killer musicianship and that is evident in the multiple arrangements that each composition has. And this album shows a lot of improvements when compared to their previous one. The guitars construct the main structure of the songs with heavy riffs while the keyboards orchestrate everything giving that adarker than hell sound to the music. And the vocals are extremely melancholic when clean and really aggressive when the growling voices appear. Each tune has multiple changes in rhythm and tempo and they are extremely memorable due to the excellent melodies used on each of them. A band that combines subtle elements with aggressiona and original elements.
