ORDAINED is a 4 piece Metal assault on the senses. With a wall of sound, this powerhouse rips through their sets without even a shred of mercy. The mission is clear: To spread to the masses the raw, unbridled fury of Heavy Metal. Already known for their distinctive sound and the massive stage show they possess, ORDAINED commands a large following when they are playing anywhere on the East Coast.

Stage props (candles, skulls, canes, a custom built coffin, curtains/backdrops, mannequin torsos, dolls), pyrotechnics and fire breathing, smoke machines, costumes and masks (for The Reverend to change into over the course of the set), and a customized light show helps ORDAINED to grab their (sometimes unsuspecting) audiences by the throat and pummel them with Heavy Metal music. The resulting chaos caused ORDAINED to be virtually BANNED from playing anywhere in Virginia in 1997.

Clubs would offer to book the "Ministers of Metal" on the condition that no pyro or "offensive" stage gear was to be used. Instead of bowing down and cheating the fans out of the show they all wanted to see, ORDAINED refused to play anywhere that they could not implement their vision of Metal mayhem. This bold move cost them many shows in Virginia at first(although a few scaled down presentations were performed), but the word of their SINsane live performances spread, and before long ORDAINED was performing shows in North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, West Virginia, Kentucky, New Jersey and New York.

Word of mouth snowballed and soon ORDAINED was getting requests for SINterviews from underground 'zines from across the States and around the globe. ORDAINED has done SINterviews for 'zines from the United States, South Africa, Germany, Yugoslavia, Peru, Poland, and Belgium as well as having reviews printed in publications from New York, New Jersey, Maryland, North Carolina, Texas, Nevada, Oregon, West Virginia, Arizona, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Utah, Washington State, California, Canada, Peru, Malaysia, Poland, Belgium, France, United Kingdom, Greece, Brazil, Russia, Germany, South Africa, & Switzerland.

Radio airplay has not eluded this Clergy of Corruption either. ORDAINED has received airplay on six of the seven continents by means of college, major market and even underground illegal pirate radio stations. In 2000, ORDAINED did live SINterviews for several stations, SINcluding one for Belgium radio (for which a translator had to be brought in). ORDAINED has broadcast a live performance via webcam as well as posting music for free downloads on mp3.com, spreading the gospel of Heavy Metal to the world through the SINternet.

1999
